Whitney White Linen Night. Opening reception O(Olesya) at the O(Ogden Museum)

This is my first blog entry, and I couldn't think of a better headline to start off my art blog! Just two days away from today, is the biggest art celebration night in the South, taking place in New Orleans - The Whitney White Linen Night. My second Museum Debut and opening reception will be held at the Ogden Museum Of Southern Art During the White Linen Night!

Here is a little bit about the exhibition. Louisiana Contemporary, is presented is a statewide-juried exhibition organized by the Ogden Museum of Southern Art. Established in 2012, this annual event promotes contemporary art practices in the state of Louisiana, provides exhibition space for the exposition of art, and engages an audience that recognizes the vibrant visual culture of Louisiana and the role of New Orleans as a rising, international art center. 

My latest works are featured in the exhibition. They are also my largest canvases 36x36x1.5 and 30x40x1.5. Here is a sneak peak of the pieces here. But I would much rather have everyone see them in person at the beautiful Ogden Museum of Southern Art.
